Well, Hello there!

I read about Dreamwidth on someone's Livejournal account and I thought, what the heck, I'll sign up for an account here too! (Mainly because Livejournal is basically dead and I miss the social aspect of that site and being able to collaborate with people)

So, let me introduce myself! I'm Nikki, A.K.A. Frenchy_chicks! I've been writing fanfiction for twelve years, though I took a short break while I worked towards my Masters in Archaeology from the University of Edinburgh.

I first started writing fanfiction for Star Trek: Enterprise and quickly moved over to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and CSI. I've written the longest for CSI:NY and have also started writing fanfiction for Doctor Who.

I like to write fanfiction because I'm not always that great at creating in-depth characters. Fanfiction gives me the opportunity to borrow other people's characters and put them in different situations.

I will warn you: I do tend to write more slash fanfiction than anything else. If that isn't your cup of tea, then I would suggest not reading what I chose to post here.
